An existing clinic in an old hospital, called Putra hospital, in Melaka. It was my second construction project in 2013. I had to work around a tight budget. I wanted to convey the message of health and heal from the design. • Therefore my form and color selection were inspired by nature. Green stand for heath and white color stands for heal. An interplay of Curves and (straight) lines are used to create effect of relaxation and firmness. • in design, it is hard to achieve subtlety, delicacy and firmness all together, but when one attains and applies them in justly, it brings tremendous energy to a space. • Adding more warmth and artisanal aspects, I installed very cool Signages and had my own photographer to shoot the few nature shots for the office reception. • The consultation room was decorated with two handmade sculpture by an Iranian artist, showing hands. This reminds the powerful hands of God and even the surgeon who helps to heal patient with his hands. • Beautiful art work could make the space to an art-therapy interior which had a homey and friendly feeling. The project was completed in 2013 in Putra specialist center of Melaka.
